1 arrested, 3 others sought in robbery, skateboard beating of Eagle Rock jogger

One person was in custody Friday and police were seeking three others who allegedly beat a jogger with skateboards and robbed him near Yosemite Recreation Center in Eagle Rock.
An 18-year-old was arrested and questioned about the Wednesday night attack on a 45-year-old Eagle Rock man who was running with earphones on when the group of young men beat and robbed him.
The bloodied victim was able to crawl to a neighbor's door for help, said Martha Ramos, detective supervisor with the Los Angeles Police Department's Northeast Division.
“They are not gang members,” Ramos said.
A skateboard belonging to one of the assailants was recovered by detectives, she said.
