Statement on the Passing of Elma Beck

Los Angeles, October 19, 2010 – We are deeply saddened by the passing of Elma Beck, the wife of George Beck, retired LAPD deputy chief, and mother of Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck. The Board of Directors and staff of the Los Angeles Police Protective League extend their sincere condolences to the Beck family and their many friends at this difficult time.
