For one week only, the Los Angeles Police Protective League will be matching all donations (up to $5,000.00 in total donations) made to the Assist the Officer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity established 30 years ago in Houston to provide aid to law enforcement during disasters like Hurricane Harvey. Officers in the Houston area have lost their homes and vehicles due to this unprecedented catastrophe, and they need our help. The Houston Police Officers’ Union has urged law enforcement nationwide to donate to Assist the Officer’s Hurricane Harvey fund to best help the officers affected. All donations are tax deductible.
Donate by Wednesday, September 6, 2017, and type “LAPD” in the “Special instructions” box, and the League will match all funds (up to $5,000.00 in total donations) and double the impact of your gift.
