Los Angeles police were seeking the public's help Monday after a shooting in Watts left one man dead and a woman critically wounded.
The two were sitting inside a parked vehicle in the 2200 block of East 105th Street last Sunday when an attacker walked up from the sidewalk and fired multiple rounds, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The man, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman, 34, was in extremely critical condition Monday, according to the LAPD.
At least 62 homicides have been reported in Watts since January 2007, according to a Times Homicide Report database. Nearly all of the victims died from gunshot wounds.
