Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in 10 L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times' Crime L.A. database.
Seven neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Pico-Robertson (A) was the most unusual, recording three reports compared with a weekly average of 0.3 over the last three months.
Windsor Square (H) topped the list of three neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded five property crimes compared with its weekly average of 1.8 over the last three months.
Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for Feb. 24-March 2, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
