League Services Overview

The League is proud to offer a wide range of services to support its members:

• Advocacy and Representation: Contract negotiations, legal representation for members, and representation for grievances, arbitrations, and unfair labor practices.
• Insurance and Benefits: Dental, group life, disability, and legal defense insurance, along with League-sponsored death benefits for families of officers who pass away during active service.
• Support Services: Guard Card and firearm renewal processing, assistance with Workers’ Compensation claims, sick leave, injured-on-duty matters, and service or disability pensions.
• Community Engagement: Sponsorship of the annual golf tournament benefiting the families of fallen LAPD officers, and scholarship opportunities for members’ dependents.
• Communication and Publications: Publication of The Thin Blue Line, the League’s award-winning monthly magazine.
